The Vale Marketing Group
Conceived in 2003 by a group of 16 accommodation providers in the Vale of Glamorgan, a beautiful coastal, rural vale just west of Cardiff. Recognising the need to create a greater awareness of the Vale and all that it has to offer, the group fortunately managed to secure some much needed funding which has enabled them to pursue their objectives.
The Vale Marketing Group now has a proactive and dynamic marketing programme, distributing its brochures world wide, developing a very user-friendly and informative website and generally increasing the awareness of the Vale as a holiday and recreation centre on the world stage.
All aspects of the Vale and surrounding areas are represented. From golf courses to hiking paths, city shopping to historical sites. The Vale is just a stone's throw from Cardiff, the youngest capital in Europe with its abundance of theatres, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Visitors to the Vale can dip their toes into the excitement of the city and then retire to the peaceful surroundings of 'the garden of Cardiff' to recharge their batteries and enjoy their leisure activities.
We continue to work, having an on-going initiative to grow from strength to strength, inviting more and more accommodation and attraction providers (both large and small) to become involved in this project.
